In recent days Alakh has been in the Media limelight for reasons other than his eminent achievements in the Education Industry, He is finally tying a knot with his long time girlfriend and Journalist Shivani Dubey. The couple is set to have a wedding this month followed by a grand reception at one of Delhi’s Best 5-Star Hotels. Alakh and Shivani got engaged in May 2022
Shivani was born in 1996 and belongs to Alakh’s hometown Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Shivani Dubey is a renowned Journalist. She is a journalist who enjoys writing on entertainment, recreation, culture, politics, and social trends. She has worked with a variety of periodicals throughout the course of her career, namely ELLE, Refinery29, i-D, VICE etc. Shivani and Alakh have been seeing each other for two years, according to the public narrative.

Pandey began teaching physics in a Kanpur institute before launching PhysicsWallah, which provides tutoring in areas such as physics, math, biology, and economics and is extremely popular among JEE and NEET hopefuls. After collecting $100 million in Series A investment, the company joined India's list of unicorns in 2017. Not only that, but he is one of India's most popular educators, with a sizable fan base on social media.
Earlier this week Alakh Pandey got an opportunity to have a meet with Uttar Pradesh CM, Yogi Adityanath, they discussed the facets of the state’s education system and the reforms that are necessary to be put into place to improve the standard of education of the students in Uttar Pradesh.
Post the conversation with the CM, Mr. PhysicsWallah himself posted on his LinkedIn account expressing how he has felt it is a responsibility to his homeland, Prayagraj and that his meeting with CM has brought his vision closer to reality.
