An estimated 500 Crore Rupees were spent on this Most Expensive Wedding in India

Indian wedding customs differ according to the bride and groom's personal tastes, culture, and area. The bride and groom's community, region, religion, as well as their personal tastes, are typically represented in the elaborate decorations, colour, attire, music, dance, traditions, and costumes that are used to mark these happy occasions in India.

Janardhana Reddy, a former Karnataka minister, married his daughter for more than Rs 500 crore, making it one of India's most costly weddings. The wedding of Brahmani, Janardhana Reddy's daughter, took place on November 6, 2016.

Around 50,000 people attended the five-day wedding. More than 1500 rooms in Bengaluru's five- and three-star hotels have been reserved for the occasion. The location was guarded by 3000 security officers.

The festivities lasted five days and the royalty of a bride wore a Kanjivaram worth Rs. 17 crore. The saree's thread work was pure gold. The Reddy family looked like kings, wearing gold and diamond jewels worth roughly Rs. 5 crores. She wore jewels worth 90 lakh rupees.

Almost 50 elite makeup artists were hired, with one makeup artist in particular being flown in from Mumbai. This arrangement cost a total of Rs. 30 lakhs.

Guests received their invitation cards on LCD displays. The LCD screen card went viral as the box holding it revealed a musical invitation when opened. In the video, the Reddy family is seen inviting people to the wedding.

Visitors were greeted at the entrance and led inside on 40 sumptuous bullock carts. Many sets of temples in the Vijayanagara style were developed by Bollywood art directors. The eating room was decorated in the style of a Bellary hamlet. To transport the tourists, 15 helicopters and 2,000 taxis were used.
