Dia Mirza: Bio, Dhak Dhak Movie, Comments on Acting Career after 40 for women

The latest Dia Mirza film, Dhak Dhak is an all-female star-studded film starring notable names such as Fatima Sana Shaikh and Ratna Pathak Shah. They play four women who go out to climb the world's highest motorable pass while learning a few things about themselves.

Tarun Dudeja directed the drama, which Taapsee Pannu produced under her label ‘Outsiders Films’. The film is co-produced by Viacom18 Studios. Protagonist in the film wears a burqa and a headscarf while riding a motorbike with her friends.

Dia Mirza recently said that as she has gotten older, she has gotten better parts in her acting career. She stated that women are informed that they have a limited window of opportunity in their professions and that she never expected to play roles like this after the age of 40. The former Miss Asia pacific International made her Hindi Film Debut with the actor R Madhavan in the film Rehna Hai Terre Dil Mein.

As a woman, I don't suppose I would have ever anticipated that I would have some of the best parts to play in my life when I am 40, Dia told Bollywood Hungama.
