Ayushmann Khurana & Aparshakti Khurana set to host Zee Cine Awards 2023
This year's Zee Cine Awards will be hosted by Aparshakti and Ayushmann. The event will take place on February 26 in Mumbai. Aparshakti, well known for his role as Abbas Sheikh in the 2019 love comedy Luka Chuppi, expressed delight at the opportunity to work with his brother again.
"It's always a pleasure to collaborate with Ayushmann. At the end of the day, the goal is to make the evening memorable, and we will both try our best to do that." This is not, however, the first time Aparshakti and Ayushman have shared the stage. They previously hosted the 2019 IIFA.
The first look at Ayushmann's next film Dream Girl 2 was released lately, and more hints may be revealed during this gala event. The film is a follow-up to the 2019 success Dream Girl, which starred Ayushmann and renowned actress Ananya Pandey.
Last year, he had theatrical releases: Anek, Doctor G, and An Action Hero. Last year, Aparshakti appeared in two theatrical films, Dhoka: Round D Corner and Bhediya, both starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. He is also preparing for Atul Sabharwal's thriller Berlin, in which he co-stars with Ishwak Singh and Rahul Bose.
Although both brothers have diverse acting abilities, they do have a sense of comedy. Now, the two are preparing to show off their comedic talents as hosts of this year's Zee Cine Awards, which is set to take place around February 26 in Mumbai. Ayushmann was just named as the show's host. Soon comes word that his brother will be joining him.
In a statement on appearing on stage with his sibling, Aparkshakti remarked, that It is always fantastic to work with Ayushmann. They had previously co-hosted another programme, which was a blast to host. When it comes to work, both of them recognise that it is a professional commitment, and they don't get a chance to get together very frequently.
Yet, given their personal histories, it definitely lends a depth of charm and pleasure to the performance, which he hopes they can convey to the stage. At the end of the day, the goal is to make the evening memorable, and both of them would try their best to do that.
